WHATSAPP NEW UPDATES BRINGS NEW PIC-PIC VIDEO CALLING AND TEXT ONLY STATUSES.- Probytez


This features have been already on the beta platform for some month now, well but now this new features of WhatsApp has been rolled out in the markets.
 So far we have seen WhatsApp have be launching so many updates making chating , video calling or sharing documents much easier and much more convenient to its user.

In this latest update  WhatsApp has rolled out 3 new features, and which are available for both Android and iOS users. 

1.PICTURE-IN-PICTURE MODE(PIP CALLING)


Well the Picture-in-Picture calling also knows as PIP calling and it enable the user to multitask while they are on video call. 
  • Users are able to resize the video call window, whether they make or receive video calls.
  • This feature will be helpful if you are on a video call with one contact , but want to initiate a chat with another contact or to view picture or images.
  • This feature is available for both Android(8.0+) iOS users.

2.ONLY TEXT STATUS 

  • Prior to this on WhatsApp users were able to put only images as their status updates.
  • But with these updates, you will be able to write your favorite quotes and you can directly express what's on your mind for someone or something with a beautiful colorful background of your choice and fonts.


  • Just tap the pencil icon in the status tab, and type what do you like and pick a background color or font of your choice.
  • This feature is also available for both Android and iOS users.

3.FILTERS

  • Yes its true that now filters are also available on WhatsApp.
  • If your sending some images to your friends, family or loved ones you will get a option saying swipe up for filters.
  • This features is also available for image status updates.
  • So far filters like Pop,B&W,Cool,Chrome etc are available.

The Picture-in-Picture API was The Picture-in-Picture API was only added in Android O natively, so it's unlikely this feature would come to WhatsApp on older versions of Android unless the team wants to create its own code for it. And WhatsApp isn't the first app to support it, we've already seen Duo, VLC Beta, Play Movies, Chrome, and I'm sure plenty of other apps implement it.
